My name is Jack Morrison, Marine student Veteran, and my major is Food & Resource Economics. Most of my family has served in the military which is how I ended up in the service. The branch that I ended up joining was the Marine Corps. Shortly after my service I went into college to achieve my career goals which is to become a commercial beekeeper; since, I manage my own bee hives already.
The center has many opportunities and resources for employment such as scheduled information sessions with possible employers. The center has assisted with my success and transition by providing a good place to study and a group of people who have similar experiences. CVSC has made a positive impact on my college experience especially with the help of Charlotte Kemper.
Charlotte is essential to the transition to college life. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the GI Bill, veteran benefits and always offers sound advice. If she does not know the answer to a question she is quick to find out.
